I was tagged by the great Musty Hobbit of the Second Breakfast channel to share my 5 highest valued NES games. Thought I'd have some fun in the spirit of Halloween!

I have been holding off playing my Sega Master System ever since I changed out my CRT’s for PVM’s because I needed to get RGB cables to hook the console up to those fresh, sexy professional video monitors. Unfortunately, for a few months, my RGB cable/amphetamine dealer did not have those particular cables in stock. But finally, after what seemed like YEARS, I went to check  and the Master System cables were in stock so I tossed those in my cart with some uppers to boot and was ready to get my party started. The cables arrived just yesterday and I needed a game to play and test the system out on so I could see just how sexily wonderful the PVM’s made the Master System look.

Excited to receive Holy Diver (NES) from Castlemaniagames.com, Trav gets inside to see what all comes with the collector's edition and pops it in for a quick play.

People say life is short and I guess on a cosmic level that’s true but when people say it I briefly panic.  I think of all the things I intended to do with my life like visit Europe, write a manifesto, or lose enough weight so that my belly doesn’t jiggle uncontrollably when I brush my teeth.  There’s also video games I meant to play and big ones too.

Jake unpacks his new Persona 5 Take Your Heart Edition as the Polykill fellas have a penchant for pulling things out of a box. Cats especially.

Many years ago, I had a fairly regular routine of selling the games I was finished with in order to fund the purchase of the new games I wanted. It was a pretty efficient process. I could usually sell my games for about half of what I paid for them, which then funded half of the next game, and the cycle continued. But then I met Travis, and witnessed his glorious game collection, and everything changed.

You've probably heard Travis and Jake mention me a few times in the podcast. Well, they graciously invited me to write some blog posts for the shiny new website and I'm happy to oblige.

So where do I fall in the Jake-Travis spectrum of gamers?
